The Virtual Law Office of Eric P. Cohen @ New Business Now.com is the online law office of Eric P. Cohen, Barrister & Solicitor. We practice solely in the area of business law, specifically focusing on the start-up needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Our philosophy is that legal services can be provided efficiently and cost effectively when technology is utilized to its fullest extent. To this end, we offer online legal services to both allow our clients to purchase simple legal services quickly and easily, and to contact us at their leisure 24 hours per day. Direct telephone consultation with a lawyer is also available during business hours.

Eric Cohen graduated from the Queen's University Faculty of Law in 1997. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association. Eric has worked in the area of incorporations and business law since his call to the bar in February 1999. In addition, Eric has over ten years of operations management experience with a major international entertainment company.

Lawyers must adhere to high standards of professional conduct, including solicitor-client confidentiality and they must maintain errors and omissions insurance for their work. All incorporation and business registration services purchased through our website are fully insured against errors and omissions (in all Canadian provinces) and all client information remains strictly confidential at all times.	Most other online incorporation providers are paralegal firms which are unlicensed, unregulated, and possibly uninsured. Paralegals are not required to maintain client confidentiality by law and they have no mandatory standards of professional conduct which must be upheld.
We provide free access to lawyers by phone or email, and we are able to provide specific legal advice where required. (Free access to lawyers may be time-restricted.)	Paralegal firms are not permitted to provide legal advice under any circumstances.
