Recently, we have been made aware of a series of unsolicited emails which appear to originate from our firm.  These emails request non-Canadians to purportedly work for our firm as overseas independent incorporation agents.  These emails are fraudulent and not legitimate.

If you receive an unsolicited e-mail that asks you to work for us, or to provide any personal information, like your credit card or bank account numbers, passwords, date of birth, social insurance or social security numbers (to name a few), do not respond or click on any links provided.  Instead report the communication to the local authorities.

In Canada, you can report online at www.recol.ca. You can also call Phone Busters at 1-888-495-8501 (local:  705-495-8501).

In the United Kingdom, you can contact the UK Office of Fair Trading at 020 7211 8111 and/or your local police.

Be cautious of e-mail and Websites pretending to represent a legitimate company that ask you to provide personal or financial information.
